The iconic static line hook of WWII
Full weight, solid steel construction
4th pattern for Sicily, Market Garden, & Varsity
Hook up! The 4th pattern static line hook, with its iconic "cut rail" front edge, was the most widely used hook of WWII. The unique design with special push button and sliding gate ensured it could not unhook accidentally. Issued 1943-1945, it was standard issue for Sicily, Normandy, Market Garden, and Varsity.
Build from solid steel, this reproduction matches the original weight down to a fraction of an ounce. With a quick jerk on the static line, the sliding gate locks and the push button snaps into place - a distinctive "click" straight from 1944. This reproduction copies the early Amendment "A" version of hook 43A9502, with the slightly small cable slot. (Late war versions increased the cable slot slightly). Most other T-5 reproductions use the postwar, slab sided hook, so upgrade your chute today!
