The classic QAC parachute harness issued to USAAF bomber crews in WWII.
Harness only, flying jacket & chest pack shown for illustration.
Includes Parachute Manual
MADE IN USA
The AN-6513 was the first QAC used by the Air Corps during WWII. The streamlined harness featured a canvas back pad, and D-rings at the chest for attaching the parachute pack. This harness was among the most widely issued, being standard issue until the general issue of the A-3 in 1944. In May 1944, harnesses began to be marked red, but many remained unmarked until the end of the war. Check out QAC Color Coding page for more research info.

These are the very same high quality harnesses we built for the "Masters of the Air" miniseries. Over 60 feet custom woven webbing is painstakingly interlaced and layered to form the harness element. An actual harness machine from the war creates authentic 7-class stitching with mil-spec ultra heavy 100% cotton thread. Custom forged steel fittings from the original blueprints ensure that every "click" of the buckles are an authentic sound straight from 1943. The back pad is built with our custom dyed "Aircorps Drab" tight weave canvas and genuine USA Scovill fasteners. Custom smooth weave HBT webs have the proper anti-fray end coatings - no detail is overlooked. Complete with all the part, date, and manufacturer, and inspection markings, hand stamped just like originals. Includes instructional manual.
Sizing: These comfortably fit up to about 6 foot and 200 pounds. Over that? No worry - note your height/weight in the order notes and we'll custom build one for you. (late war red markings also upon request)
