Aircrew Escape Assemblies
The Rigger Depot manufactures a range of USAAF parachute equipment, from the lightweight quick attachable chest chutes to the bulky back rigs. Quick attachable types such as the AN6513, A-3, and A-4 were the mainstay of bomber crews on the B-17 and B-24, while the back types B-7 and B-8 were generally reserved for heavy bomber pilots and the nimble fighter aircraft such as the P-38 and P-51.
