Parachute First Aid Packet

Originally developed for the AAF, the Parachute First Aid Pack was widely issued to airmen, paratroopers, and assault troops. Superseding its zippered predecessor in January 1943, this disposal pouch contained basic first aid supplies. It was fabricated from hermetically sealed lightweight rubberized cloth, and could be opened via tear notches cut into the top and bottom of the packet. Two twill tapes facilitated attachment to the parachute harness or any other convenient equipment.

This is the king of all first aid packet reproductions. The pouch is cut from an incredibly rare roll of original rubberized cloth with the hermetic seal backing – the actual cloth used in originals. No rubber cement like the cheap ones. The lettering is crisply printed just like originals, and is even complete with the 4 tiny alignment dots at each of the tie tapes. The tear notches and twill tapes are slightly offset from center, just like they should be.  These are patterned from the most commonly seen early patterns (Late war versions were slightly larger)
The standard pouch simulates the correct look and feel of medical supplies. The size, feel, and weight of the Carlisle bandage, morphine syrette, and tourniquet have been carefully replicated in the filled version. You can also purchase the empty pouch, fill with your supplies, and seal with an iron.
