Escape & Evasion Kit
Originally developed by the highly-secretive MI9, escape and evasion kits (E&E) were one of the most valued items issued to airmen. Christopher Hutton came up with the first escape kits in the Spring of 1940, and soon a variety of different pouches were created to cover all theaters of operation. The replicas below allow you to cover everything from the heavy water bombing raids over Norway, to the D-day invasion of France, the bridge busters in Italy, and the bombing raids deep into Germany.
These museum-quality replicas features the original rubberized waterproof khaki fabric cut from the original roll - the actual fabric originally used to construct these. Complete with custom silk screened lettering and the characteristic white 43/44 over stamp (with period style pigment ink). The new run has edge reinforcement tabs and a reusable adhesive strip so you open/close your E&E pouch. These are identical to the ones we built for the "Masters of the Air" miniseries.
