X-5 Modification Kit
The X-5 modification system allows you to rapidly convert a T-5 Normandy parachute into the quick release Market Garden model. Rather than having to purchase two different parachutes, you can take a single T-5 parachute assembly, and use it for both D-day and Market Garden displays.
The heart of the system is unique detachable chest straps. Special fasteners on the rear of the chest straps allow the complete chest strap unit to separate from the harness. Once detached, the Market Garden quick release chest straps are installed in their place, and the leg strap extensions clipped on just like originals. The entire conversion is very simple, takes just a 2 minutes, and is is almost identical to the factory-built modified version. The kit saves you hundreds of dollars and opens up many more possibilities for your displays.

Note: The X-5 quick release system is intended to work a T-5 Normandy harness that already has X-5 compatible chest straps (detachable). If your T-5 Normandy harness has not already been upgraded with compatible chest straps, please inquire about that separately. The system only fits Rigger Depot parachutes, it does not work on other reproductions.
