AN6513-1 Pack

The AN6513-1 was the first pack developed to connect with the AN-6513 harness.  This large square pack tray was used from the initial 1942 missions through 1943, eventually being replaced by the AN6513-1A barrel pack. This container was rigidly shaped by a rectangular steel frame and 5 phenolic stiffeners.  The canopy was connected to the harness via mini risers and a spreader bar, which extended onto the back of the container.

The reproduction of the early war AN6513-1 square pack copies the original pattern. It is complete with all stiffeners, reinforcements, and single carry handle opposite the ripcord. Internally, it is equipped with the standard hesitator loops, auxiliary record pocket, and pilot chute flaps.    Rigger tacked hooks, original ripcord,  and triple lift-the-dot snaps complete  the ensemble.
