X-Type Parachute: Camouflage
The British X-type troop parachute was adopted in late 1940 as the MkI, initially with a white harness. Soon, camouflaged versions with subdued harness and pack were introduced for service alongside the standard white parachute models. Although the most common style has a static line and white quick release dial, many can also be found with a green painted quick release box and olive drab static line.
This replica features special olive drab harness webbing and sewn with ultra heavy 7-class stitching. The hardware is painted olive drab, and features the contrasting off-white quick release dial. The pack features the Denison camouflage print, with olive trim and reinforcement webbings. The assembly includes the "display" version internal deployment bag packed with foam insert for display. A premium version with fully functioning inner D-bag is also available upon request.
